67 Impala

Post by NSP »

You might have seen a newbie post from me a month ago asking about a 65 Satellite. After lots of back and forth something else came up which for me at this time is arguably more suitable in lots of ways (I still want one though) and I went for it and am really stoked on it.

I appreciate not MOPAR but its car lovers on this site so I'm sure there will be some appreciation.

A 67 Chevy Impala Sport coupe, 327 4BRRL TH400 3 speed auto, imported in 2008
Cali built (GM Southgate) San Fran dealer, check the original plate surrounds 'Holiday Chevrolet' in SF), no rust and done 400 miles in her already, drives so smooth. Bare metal respray in original Nantucket blue, interior perfect, I feel very lucky.
A few bits to do and want to take her to factory best, watching some original rocker covers on ebay, also found some NOS hubs which are sweet but £450!! but one step at a time.
The pic by the sea was in Kent a few weeks back, thought it came out nice.
The kids love it and a real headturner, and at 4541mm long its huge!

Jon
