I took some pics of that last year, it was for sale the year before around the £13k mark which was a steal given the motors value

Hi Si,

Glad you spotted the Charger - shame not to catch you !

My first year there. It's long been an ambition to drive to the Power Big Meet, and I've finally got my act together and done it.

Drove through France, Belgium, Holland , Germany . Got the Ferry Travemunde -Malmo, then drove over the Oresund bridge to Copenhagen for two days rest and sightseeing. Parked the Charger underground next to the hotel - the attendant liked it so much he coned off a special space !
Then drove up past Gothenburg and across to Vasteras, over about 4 days, taking in some sights.

Great trip , and a great show.

Nice one Matt, epic journey and fantastic adventure

After being there without my car, driving over sometime is something I’m going to consider

I took my 65 Dodge Custom 880 for it's first journey over 50 miles since I imported it, 1,969 mile journey on my route and nothing more than a bulb change so pretty pleased. Just got back yesterday after slow journey home. I agree with earlier comments re changes to cruise route. will add a few more pictures when I get a moment

yes that was us, we dropped our friends off in Upsalla after that and spent a few days going down the coast after that, you get used to driving slow on roads with no traffic, back to the English rush hour today!

Motorama wrote:Nice selection of pics, it's hard to get across to people the scale of it all, it's so much more than just a car show

We were there Weds to Sun, have driven there the last 10 years but flew this time, good friend who lives in town leant us his 65 Impala convertible to roll round in which was nice :-) Have stayed at the Scandic every year since 99 but this year stayed a little way out of town in an apartment which was a lot cheaper.
There's a good chance this years show will be the last PBM as the organisers got robbed on the Friday evening and lost around £120k in cash, they've said they won't run it anymore, be a shame as next year would have been the 40th anniversary
No way - thats terrible- had some great times at Vasteras !

we covered less than half the field over the 2 days at the show!
I only photographed a fraction of the cars we saw!!
I've only posted a fraction of the photos I took!!!

Grab a brew, more great Mopars and other marques in the full set, can be seen here ...
