What a shame :cry: Glad you're OK though Pete. I would have thought it would be worth buying the salvage to part out?

A lesson to us all I think. There were 2 modern cars in a ditch on the way to work the other morning. Same patch of ice, 2 different incidents.

I think from what I remember (i'm with RH for ref), that I can have the salvage on mine at no additional cost/fee. So I should get the full payout and the metal back.........Of course the proof would be In the pudding so to speak!!

Something I hope I never had to test..........Sad to see the Challenger in its current state. Hope you can a good outcome so you can get another Pete! :thumbright:

At the moment the insurance company are saying the won't sell the car back to me as it classed as a cat A

The main thing here is your ok fella, did you not have salvage rights with your policy ?? Very body should check there insurance here make sure you have salvage rights !!

That should be a cat B, cat A means it should be crushed. Note the word "should" not "must".
