A602's Autorama - Stevenage Sunday 10th September

Post by MattH »

Always a good day out, big show, lots of variety, live music, traders and food stalls.

Very easy to find just off junction 7 A1M, oposite the football ground.

No prebooking required, just turn up.

Open 10am - 4pm.

I was helping out with this event for the first time, mainly parking cars in the morning. Despite the wind, we had about 400 cars turn up, and the rain held off until the end, so we only got wet as we were packing down.

We managed to take the Challenger and the Dodge Ambulance.

They don't have overnight camping other than for the organisers and a couple of the traders who travel some distance. It may be because it is Borough Council land. I will try to find out why and if it can be changed. You are not the first to ask. I wasn't aware there had been camping before, but this is the first year I've helped.
