AJ's Diner Classic and Custom Breakfast Meet

Post by MattH »

Mandie and I went to this on Sunday for the first time on Sunday, great little place in Wellingborough, so about 5 miles from Santa Pod. Easy to find and lots of parking as its on an industrial estate, good location to meet and catch up with friends and sit in their latest cars. :thumbright:

Next one is Sunday 20th May.

There was quite a variety of cars and bikes there, the food was good and well priced, bar as well, and the venue is a proper Rock & Roll set up with a dance floor and lots of booth style seating.
They have live bands there regularly as well.

Has this place been used for the Nats friday night cruise?
Looks a likely future candidate.

I was wondering that earlier today after seeing Matt's post. Darn sight nearer than the Billy Mill... :)

I don't think it has but would be ideal, as its as close as KFC, and all the parking is on an Industrial Estate.

Hopefully its early enough in the year for the Nats committee to consider it and speak with them?

Its a great venue but the car part is not big enough to host a large cruise in my opinion.

I would certainly visit the place again.

Ive mentioned the location to Tony O regards the Nats cruise, he will consider it with the rest of the committee. Car park itself is not huge but the rest of the industrial estate will allow spill over on a Friday night I'm sure. There is as much room as the KFC we used to go to but that casued more issues because it was nearer a public road.

We contacted AJ's Diner regarding a venue for our Friday Night Cruise during the MoparEuroNats but that evening they have a pre-booked Rock n Roll event, so we cannot use the Diner. As soon as we have a venue lined up we will pass it on.
