Spares for Valiants

Post by Ace Dropshot »

Does anyone know of any spares for VF or VG kicking about the UK?
Before I hunt in Aus I thought it worth reviewing what's out there (if anything!).

I'm looking for one of these parking/indicator light lens and housing just now but it's a general question for all parts VF/VG as my restoration continues.
:salute:

think you will have to go to oz for them

but the rest of the mechanicals of your car is 1967 dodge dart

apart from steering box idler pitman arm and the back to front dash and some of the trim (although the dash pod fits both lhd and rhd at a push.

Hello,

Just returned from Oz and brought some parts back for my VH Charger. Weight limit was 30kgs. Going back next September. Anyone needs some smaller parts let me know and if you arrange the purchase, my mate will accept postage and I'll bring them back (talking lenses and bits like that, not a pair of 360 cast heads).....although I do want to get a pair of pacemaker extractors in my suitcase and my wife's. She seems less keen

I used Plum Krazy Kars in Adelaide for some parts. Good service.

Regards,

Braden.

Thanks, Matt, Dave. Good to know. Hopefully it's just some bits and bobs from Aus, and the anything can come from Dodge Darts.

Got a couple of wings on their way, packed in a container with 3 Falcons. Fortunately, these smaller Aus only parts are still reasonable to find.

A chap called George owns a green VG VIP. I looked to buy it a couple of years back and remember that it came with a ton of spares. He might be worth asking. I don't know if he's a member here, but he is on the 'Aussie car owners UK' Facebook group.
