Today I was doing a Top end Check after battering it at the Weekend at Santa Pod.

All's well.

This makes me very happy....

Gave it a good thrashing round Goodwood. General trackday. A guy with a Jag f-type R came up to me and said ‘ you came past me like I was standing still ‘. Ha ha ha

F Type R is no slouch, good stuff. Does your Cuda have a 340 in or 383 / 440?

Hi Mark,

The Cuda’s got a 408ci stroked 360 small block, 450hp at the flywheel against the jag’s 540. But the Cuda's actually about 200 kg *lighter* than the Jag. I think it was the Jag driver’s first time on track, to be fair, otherwise the Jag would win. Still funny though !

Build in lightness got Chapman's cars to win.

So the engine's from the 1974 MY? Did the car come with that engine when you bought it?
