So I thought I’d share a brake kit I’ve designed using readily available parts to sit behind 15” wheels.
This kit will fit on original drum brake spindles.
Kit list
Fully CNC’d bracket
Fully CNC’d Caliper Spacers
Spindle Spacer( from Dr Diff )
Brand New Landrover Defender 4pot Calipers
1978 Chrysler Cordoba Discs(Rockauto)
This kit could be bought as separates, as you can buy many brands of LR caliper. Plus you can buy upgraded vented/drilled discs(Rockauto)
I haven’t worked out a full costing yet as I would need to know how many people would be genuinely interested before I went back to the machinist.
My reasoning for using the LR caliper is that if it will stop a fully laden 3.5T LR then it will certainly stop my car.
Originally made this for my 68 Satellite a couple of years ago and now have it on my 68 Charger.
Works excellent in a manual setup( as on my Charger) and I had it as a servo assisted setup on my Satellite.

Re: B Body Disc Setup
That’s a nice set up

The good thing is I know where all the parts have come from and you can get new pads from any motor factors in the UK.
