318 engine parts suppliers

Post by A100 »

this question has probably already been asked but here goes.
I've got a spare 318 engine that I am getting re-built and obviously I need a few (lots actually) new parts.
I've made a lengthy shopping list on Mancini Racing website but when I come to the checkout the site wont let me.
I've tried emailing Mancini twice but had no reply.
I'd like to go with Mancini because they have some really useful packages for cam, followers, springs etc. And oil pan, pickup, pump etc.
Are Mancini a nightmare to deal with? or should I try somewhere else? Is there anywhere else that anyone can recommend?
Thanks
Mark

is there not a phone number on their website? not cheap i know but if you speak to them you can probably sort your order. worth the call's cost i'd say. it's what we used to do before the internet anyway and the yanks always seemed very helpful. :thumbright:

I’d recommend speaking to Chris Goodale at GAS (Goodale American Speedshop)

He will be able to sort you out and does deal with Mancini, they can be a nightmare to deal with.

Chris is UK based and a top bloke to deal with. :thumbright:

Yes Chris is your man, I rarely deal with the States direct anymore.

Thanks for the info chaps
mygasser: a direct phone call was going to be my next course of action, just haven't had time to sit down and do it (and work out the time difference?)
Stu and Blue: thanks for the info re- Goodale. I'll give Chris a call. :thumbright:
