Hello Dave…..I’m guessing with the purple comment and your surname, you are Tig with the beast of a Challenger.

Re: Just saying Hello
Yes, that's me I have a purple Challenger and Cath (my missus), has a '68 RHD Barracuda. The Challenger has got the smaller engine in at the moment (580ci) that has just been rebuilt with new pistons and higher compression, after busting a ringland on #3 piston due to a warped cylinder head. So we are interested to see how that performs. I've included a video below of a typical 580 motor pass.
Hopefully next season, we'll be out at sometime with the big motor (655ci). The big motor has been dyno'd after some updates / new parts and made better numbers than expected , it's currently stripped down again to investigate a minor bearing issue. How the dyno figures will translate when in the car, remains to be seen though We will eventually be replacing the dana and 727 with a 9" derived rear and a trans based on a TH400 before fitting a fogger kit though thats likely 2 or 3 seasons off but at the moment it's all Mopar.
Caths Barracuda has ran a best of 13.88@ 99.?? (and has won a SCR sportsman ET championship ). I know it would go quicker with a decent set of gears in it, we're just getting into 3rd before the stripe But Cath doesn't really want to take it any further and to be fair it drives really nice on the street as is with the 3.23 gears.
Happy to burble on about them

Tig forgot to mention that the Challenger spends most of its time on only Two wheels, a very expensive pastime....
