Steve Case'little' diferent now.s R/T S/E
Following on my my lost pics, (see other topic!), thought it might be best to put them on here!!!!!!!!
Please feel free to add any you might have, thanks.
I bought the car back in 1983, and have over the years, completely replaced EVERY nut & bolt on this car! There is a full cds tube chassis on the car, and other than the roof, rear quarters and doors, EVERYTHING has been replaced with new items.
The car does however keep the matching no's engine, gearbox & rear axle! Although these are a 'little' different now!
Car is basically a 383 R/T S/E, repainted to original Plum Crazy, an fitted with the original colour vinyl roof. Front end is a 2-piece removable item from VFN, in Illinois. Trunk lid, rear panel, and bumpers are fibreglass items all molded from my original parts, ( l have molds), and the rear window infill panel is a replacement steel part.

There are generic kits, but still require a considerable amount of work & at the end of the day, probably wont be what you really want.theguitardoctor wrote:I want to build a dash like that.....where do I start though?
Can something like that be ordered in the UK or is it a case of going to a local engineer?
Sweet car in every respect....
My advice would be to make what you want in cardboard template. Then take said template & speak to some fabricators, ideally a recommended car related fabricator or engineering shop.
You may want to consider that what you change, can also be put back. You may like it & the next purchaser could be put off , if they could not easily revert back to the the original dash.

Thanks for the advice
Thanks peeps!
Dash was handbuilt by a good friend of mine, Geoff Cousins, you could ring him and ask, but won't be cheap, 01306-713628, probably took the best part of 2 weeks to make it!
Yes Mark, do intend keeping the car again now, and hopefully hope to get the other engine done in the near future, ( sorry for delay Dave! ), Trouble is so much else going on, the time just flies by, but hopefully get started soon,

Never really wanted a newer model Mopar, but having bought this 2 months ago, I don’t know if I want an old one! Just amazing
performance from this, and nice and comfortable too. Not the greatest fuel economy, but when was a HEMI ever bought with that in mind!
