1969 Oldsmobile 442

Post by Faux-7-0 »

After the "testing the water" effort a year or so back, I've finally decided to seriously offer the 442 for sale

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186349728157 ... R9bJ3-rKYw

Prepared to negotiate on price as you'd expect. ;)

Alan,
Wish you the best on the sale; it's a solid, honest looking 442--you shouldn't have any problems getting what you want for it. It will be missed though at our MMA events.

Cheers, Robert

I thought 4-4-2 was 4 barrel, 4 speed, twin exhaust, or is that the earlier ones?

Kev: That was the original meaning but it sort of morphed over the model years - after all, it didn't make sense if you had an Auto. By 69 it was 4 barrel/400 cu in/2 exhausts.
