Re: Window winder mechanism
You may find that there is commonality between VE VF and VG cars
and 67 68 69 US cars
do you want a copy of the 62-69 parts book?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1134006 ... iles/files
can't think much difference between a VF 69 and VG 70 VIP
Id also message CL Pete and Aussie Pete 2 different people on this board who have parts for sale, the former has a wider range of interest based on the cars i think he had, whereas i think aussie pete's stuff is mainly 71 on
Other option is to see if anything from the charger 2 door can be cut down to work. the main interest is is chargers these days so there are likely to be more bits of them about than the rest
however a big seller in UK Aussie Valiant terms was i think the 4 door VE which should be similar to yours
other option is to phone or email wrecking yards in Aus/NZ and get the parts sent in small packages by Australia post

years ago i used this method to get flywheel clutch wheels. wrapped bubble wrap with an address label on
the only time i needed proper shipping was gearbox and headers
nd my dash pad came in someone else house move container
little bit of ingenuity and the parts will arrive
if you use the parts book i link to above the nn-nn-nn code for the bits you want note down the part number
then go to mymopar and get the 67 68 69 parts book for US cars
https://mymopar.com/parts-manuals/
look up the same nn-nn-nn code in the US book and see if it relates to your "Known Aussie part number which will be 2?????????????
if it does you just opened up a world of supply in the US as well
the part number will be 2????????????? i.e 60s early 70s part number specific to that version of the part if the part was still made in the 80s it will have what is termed a superseded part number starting with 3 or 6 that means it fits but is not totally like the orginal
my steering sector for example has 3 part numbers but was the same part from 1964 until the last ones made in 2004 i.e the nn-nn-nn can be linked with 3 numbers across the years but its still the same part
US New old stock parts by part number https://www.amsnos.com/
Or just search ebay or google for the part
"Mopar Part number" "2??????????"
amazing how many parts are sold with just the number and the seller not knowing what it is from or used for...garage/shed/premises clearance firms can't be bothered to find out
