Waterpump pulley
Hi all, my small block used to be an AirCon car which has long gone. So I'm looking for the correct waterpump pulley for non AC.
What I have works but it's not the best arrangement and I'd like to improve on it.

unless i'm wrong (wouldn't be the first time) the ac pulley is smaller to spin the pump a little faster. so unless you have alignment issues i'd just repaint/powdercoat what you have. but that's just me, lol.

Without more pictures I could be wrong, but I feel that it is not the Pulley that is wrong, it is the mounting Bracketry / Idler Arm arrangement that is incorrect.ScottyDave wrote: Wed Jun 18, 25 3:48 pm Hi Neil, waterpump is currently driving the power steering atm. Can you put up a wider picture of the installation, I think the Water Pump should not be on the same belt as the PAS Pump, only with the Crank Pulley and the Alternator. The PAS Belt is a separate (and heavier Belt) arrangement.

Yes Pete, your correct in your assumption. My car was originally AC and I think it would've been,
Crank, Alternator, AC? & Crank, Pump, PS but I honestly have no idea
This has always been the setup its had from when I got it but, I feel it should be Crank, Alternator, Pump.
Again I don't know
It has however always been reliable and never gets hot.
