nothing worthy of pics, just more running of wires etc. gauges are back in the dash, the oil pressure gauge pipe is rerouted and now goes through a grommet at the bulkhead. the engine even turns over on the key :thumbright: . we even added washers and a locknut to the throttle cable where it goes through the bulkhead, the whole cable was flopping back and forth in the hole like a pr*ck in a shirt sleeve, lol.

bit more done today, the dash is hanging almost in position and everything's connected and works. we'll get the dash bolted in and the new wiring tied and sleeved neatly tomorrow.
my mate who's car it is arrived in his new toy after lunch, a steel model A coupe fenderless hot rod. it has a fully detailed chassis with a 350/350 up front.
we have to collect a 2.0 (2.1 i'm told) pinto and auto box with lokar shifter by saturday so it can go for a ride to the swapmeet sunday before being dropped off at john gumble's shop ready to go in his new '39 willys. it's all go, lol.

dash is back in, wiring neatened and secured, drivers floor in, tunnel and bellhousing cover in, seat in, fuel line at carb fitted, tranny cooler lines fittes and connected and cooling hoses fitted. my mate's popping round with petrol and tranny fluid friday so we can fire it up, it's not run properly since he fitted a good rover v8 he had replacing the old knackered one. tomorrow we're collecting the pinto and box so won't touch the 32.
