1964 DODGE POLARA 4 DOOR SEDAN

Post by Hugo Smith »

I'm selling my RHD Polara which I bought in 2001. It had an extensive body restoration in 2014, all rust removed and cavities waxed resprayed in Celebration Gold, over £30,000 spent. 318 Wideblock, motor never been apart, 83,000 original miles 2 barrel carb single exhaust, this car does 30 mpg at 50-55 mph ! Original interior (other than headliner replaced) in good condition. Manual steering drum brakes. Heater doesn't work but would if all the under dash connectors were set up properly. New front brake shoes and master cylinder. I bought it out by Heathrow, it was registered FPJ23B so some of you might know it.

I love this car but am getting too old for the Armstrong steering and general size vis a vis country lanes.

Looking for 22,000 euro, I'm in Galway Southern Ireland, have plenty more pics if required.
No swaps, thanks for looking

4 door C Bodies don't appeal to the masses here unfortunately. Prices are rising in the States (for top notch cars in particular) and good driver quality cars are still very affordable. They are actually rarer than 2 door cars due to lots of 4 doors being used in demolition derbies and as drivetrain donors but rarety doesn't always equate to more valuable unfortunately. In my opinion (for what it's worth) Ithink your car would have a very good chance of achieving somewhere towards what you are after in Sweden etc. They appreciate all American cars to a degree, certainly more than here in the UK.
