Re: Bring a Trailer
Greetings all: Today's Mopar selection follows for your consideration.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978- ... -duster-4/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-plymouth-gtx-39/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970- ... h-cuda-92/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968- ... runner-47/

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974- ... duster-13/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1955- ... -st-regis/
Bizarrely, the 61 Savoy gets my vote today, closely followed by the 68 RR despite the RM21/RM23 debate.
There are also quite a few others I don't dislike so for the first time ever in this thread, there'll be a same-day post.

Re: Bring a Trailer
Lots of choices there
Re: Bring a Trailer
Thanks Alan,
Still looking through the first batch...
If i had space i'd take the 63 Fury - best colour combo.
And the 55 New Yorker. Glorious.
Neither sold, but someone paid $300k for the 4 door Power Wagon? wow

Re: Bring a Trailer
None of that blows my skirt up to be honest!

Re: Bring a Trailer
I'm surprised at that Blue, you are a hard man to please
I know my taste is a bit questionable at times but I like almost all of those (except any with daft wheels of course). The Wayfarer is lovely and I do like a 300 letter car. The AMX (lowm miles) went for good money and I love the look of the Plum Crazy 70 Charger.
If I win the Euros Lottery Blue, I will PM you to find out what car you want rather than surprising you

Re: Bring a Trailer
maybe controversial but my fave from that bunch is the 60 Buick LeSabre wagon.
Re: Bring a Trailer
It's a cracking cruiser, really nice car. Bit different to the usually wagons, I don't recall seeing many of these

A bit beyond my budget too unfortunately

Re: Bring a Trailer
My Euro Billions list is a bit easier now you've told us that Rob
I really struggle with any form of excitement around modern cars for some reason. I can appreciate them for what they are but that's about as far as it goes. As I'm getting older I would like a truck of some sort (Ranger, Isuzu, L200, something like that) out of necessity rather than car lust, although I do like a nice tidy truck. I look at 200k supercars and just see a big garage with several really nice old American cars in there
My other halfs son in law has an electric Porsche Taycan GTS thingy. It really is something special but really, after the first blast in it (F1 performance) I lost interest and was glad it's not my licence on the line. Quite funny but we were at some lights in it in Derbyshire and coming the other way and turning were 3 or 4 MK2 Escorts in various states of tune. The first young lad took one looks at us and when the lights changed he lit it up and did a power drift around the corner sideways and off. Probably 5 seconds slower to 60 but looked much more fun.
Sorry, again off topic but cheers

I don’t have a wide taste in cars at all Steve, most things sporty or exotic don’t really interest me, anything built after the ‘70s I consider just a means of transport. I don’t care what I drive on a daily basis, it needs to be an appliance. I think I’d like to own a car with an interesting known history, like the Barracuda convertible from the Doris Day show, but thats a ‘69 so that won’t do….
