As is usual, the fittings for the passenger side belts are completely different to the drivers side, so could only get the harness on the drivers side done today
On the search for some different eyelets for the other side now.
In the meantime, was too bloody cold to do much today, so finished stripping the old shifter out and started mocking up positioning on the replacement.
It’s been suggested to me that it’s worth a plate of some description, to incorporate captive nuts, so aIt can all be fixed from above. I like the idea of that, as I fed up of scrambling up and down with the old one.
