Me of course! It was quite funny what happened, the rear band support pin fell out of the box (and totally disappeared) and I dumped all the fluid in the pits. That was the day I learned what that ugly lump on the bottom of the tailshaft, that I had ground off in an idle moment a few months before, was there for.

Red 68 Hemi Charger was Jim Wilson's, went to Jersey soon after. 4 speed car I think. Turned up at a Pod EuroNats a few years later looking a bit scruffy.

Hemi Challenger vert was from the Carlos Monteverdi collection, brought along by the RPM boys, Martin and Pete. I imagine that would have fetched 7 figures ($) before prices starting coming back down.

Black 67 Hemi GTX is John Maynard's old car, also went to Jersey (hence the J plate).

Orange 68 Hemi Coronet was another of Ian Frankland's cars - was restored by new owner who emigrated with car to NZ, according to another recent nostalgia thread.

What a lot of Hemis! Never see that again in the UK.
just to confirm the 68 charger was a hemi auto with a dana 60 the fella i work for owned that for 20 years he imported it back in 86 , it had spent most of its previous years on the strip in the states , he restored at the jensen factory west brom, ian orford was the owner before jim wilson who also at the time had silver 69 dodge dart running 11,s as well as a 70 chall 440six pack and a 72 440 charger , must of had one fat wallet to run that lot
keep it mopar !

The 68 Hemi Coronet is now completely restored to original, b5 blue, stunning car, and as Adam said it is now in New Zealand the car is owned by Kenny (Ian Kenyon previous owner/built Dave Baileys 64 Valiant) and was recently featured in one of there mags out there, i'll try find out which one off Karl (kennys son) when i see him next week

I think this was 2000, or 1999.
