Thanks Steve, pretty good turn out then.
Should be at that Corvette do in June, the promise of those Merlins, a rolling road (if it's still planned to be there) and hopefully some of us lot there should provide enough distraction for the day from all those hairdressers cars ......

RobTwin wrote:Shame you couldnt be there Steve. Well worth a visit to Duxford one day; fair bit more there than at Hendon - will be no-contest when the new hangar's finished.
Out of interest, how many Mustangs were there at Hendon? Think there was about 30 of 'us' at Duxford (inc a few non-Mopes).
Heard a couple of times lately that they often struggle to get cars to their meets, strange considering the size of their club (twice as big as ours?)

Thanks Sandy, looks like I'll have to eat my words. Not a bad turn out I suppose!
At least we had more room to park at Duxford - didnt have to worry about car park dents & scratches!
Keith... has who booked what??

The Mustangs had their own section of the car park....all other had to park down the end, the few other cars in the car park were owners other cars

Ohh, I see!!
Matt was talking about that when we were there, saying there had been suggestions to open it up to other makes & make it more of a musclecar meet (bit like the way the Nats is going I suppose), and possibly later in the year to avoid the snow & hailstones!
Guess we'll have to wait and see. Maybe it'll be put to the vote
