It will be interesting to read your opinion on how the handling is changed once the AR bar is fitted.

Unfortunately I couldnt really make a direct comparrison with mine as it was so long between driving it without, and then with one.

I do remember mine was bad before though. Now, its just a pleasure to drive.

I remember driving Dave Armstrongs' 68 when mine was first on the road. He had a bar and mine didnt. His felt a whole order of magnitude more stable in cornering.

I'm sure the only change is not only an rear anti roll bar in all that Time.

I had a couple of new badges arrive from the States yesterday.They are for the rear of my charger as my ones are only stuck on as all the pins are missing.

I started work on the anti roll brackets today and I got the brackets made that hold the anti roll bar to the axle. Once I do a trial mock up I will be able to make the brackets up that take the tie rod arms and them I should be able to get it all powder coated and that will be job done.

On Saturday I took a drive to Reel Steel to buy some exhaust pipe reducers (3inch header to 2.5inch exhaust) and while I was over that way I also went to a exhaust place (Profusion) near them and brought some Magnaflow silencers. My plan is to build my own Stainless Steel exhaust system from the headers back. Today I pick up the 3 metres of straight pipe I need from a company in Brixton (Solid Fabrications) and hopefully the mandrel bends I need will arrive in the post tomorrow and then I can cut and weld it altogether and end up with a full stainless steel 2.5inch exhaust system which should give my car a great new sound.

All the mandrel bends arrived yesterday so last night marked all the cuts that were need and then I did them this evening after work. Tomorrow I'll tack it all together and the do a test fit on the car before I final weld it. I order to save money I brought all 90' bends and cut them in two and then had two 45' bends. As you can see I am lucky enough to be able to do full size CAD drawings so I can do the mock up on paper and not under the car.

I will tack it together with a mig welder with stailess wire and if a friend will lend me his tig welder I'll tig weld it together once the test fit is done.

Anton, why not buy an exhaust system from, say Jim Wilson or American Autoparts and it would fit straight away without the "HASTLE"

I enjoy making my own stuff and it also cost alot less to do it myself. This exhaust pipe when it is done would have only set me back about £180. If I save money on the things I can make then that leaves me spare money for the things I can't . I know that doesn't take the labour into account.
