Finally got the lower front end spoiler squared
Ready for polyester and final levelling,
This will require zero sealer so will be an easy unbolt removal if required,

That front end is one of the best looking ever I think....love it. Your work is so meticulous and perfect. Im watching loads of episodes of Graveyard Carz at the moment and the body guys on that do some stunning work like this

Not sure I’m in that league now
But back in the day I turned out a few XKE’s that were pretty good!
I’ve watched a few too, not 100% sure about that Mark Wormen gezzer though, but I suppose that’s all par for the course with US produced content,
But they do have some very interesting and unique Mopars featured .
The TA is a bucket list car, something I’ve been wanting for 50 years, if it hadn’t come available I would have brought the White 440-6 that Dave B owned for years,
A 70 GTX or Satellite is probably my favourite of them all!
Style, shape and road presence for me it’s never been bettered ,
I’m still a believer

Finished the front end parts all looking good
Really just the gapping to finish now,
On the home run now thank goodness!

I must admit I was thinking that. If I win the Euro Millions, I will make sure you have your own huge workshop. A guy with your skills deserves every inch of it!!!! That last picture shows just how beautiful the lines on these cars are.

I’ve finally managed to complete my mission on the front lower !
Actually turned out pretty well really,
Glad I drop the angle to, the blunt look is nice and blends with the surrounding panels,

So managed to get the right hand side gapped,
Quite pleased and a lite skim and block is all that’s required

And talking of blocks been prepping my motor,
All looking good so far,

Managed to get the left front quarter almost Dialed in yesterday

I love that detail, really appeals to my healthy OCD. Its made me realise just how much work goes into a proper restoration. Goes without saying, Im absolutely loving this build

I’ll be honest it’s seriously testing my patience,
The way the cars built is basically a nightmare,
Much more difficult to restore than a comparable Mopar,
The shell structure is very strong, but factor in the daft front subframe and front quarters that support the huge bonnet and mis alignment is a given!

Then factor in dodgy south East Asian repro panels and ones in a world of pain!
Looking back it probably was a daft thing to take on at my age, definitely finding it hard going now ,

I’m going to have to buy a new crankshaft as it’s impossible to source 40 over bearings now , so my dilemma now is do I go for a big inch stroker Jobbie , something around 470 CI
But it doesn’t come cheap !
