excuse my ignorance on this please but Im struggling to post photos.

I keep getting this message.....

Could not connect to FTP Server: 'localhost'. Please check your FTP-Settings.

Is this all to do with the downtime or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for this Martin. Will there be any immediate differences noticeable?

I have had a PM already so that works. :thumbright:

I tried to post some photos yesterday and got the same message, no doubt moves are afoot. Other than that things are working much as they did so no complaints here.

Sorry for the delay on the file attachments, there was an issue with the FTP setup, should all be working now but let me know if anythings not working right.

Cheers!

Hi Matt, no noticeable differences until I update the forum software and then start adding the additional features (picture resize etc). I'll be starting on that tomorrow though I have gone through the process on a dummy run already to sort out all the issues in advance. So expect another day or two downtime maybe next week while I convert the forum and then the new features will be added after that.

I have been experiencing a lot less issues with the new server compared to the old hosting and have not had any of the timeout issues, I too thought it was running quicker on the new server?

Cheers.

Photos definitely working now!
I look forward to the resize not being needed.
Thanks Martin.

PLEASE NOTE that the forum will be down again this coming Monday and Tuesday (25th and 26th of September) while the forum is converted to the latest software version. After this you should see a marked improvement in using the forum on mobile devices and automatic image resizing will follow shortly after.

Cheers!
