Certainly some great results there :thumbright:
What's the best way to stop the rust returning? Every place there was rust means there is a pinhole in the chrome so moisture will soon start the process again. Maybe wax or WD 40 type stuff and polish up before shows.

Stu had a go at cleaning ours a couple of weeks ago and found it hard not to have it end up all shiny!
He tried to clean it up but leave it with a dull, almost bead-blast finish like it originally had but ended up with a polished look. Not quite as polished as Anton's tho...

I finally finished stripping out all the interior this morning so I can start cleaning and painting next week. The floor is in very good condition and little areas you see rust are only surface and will come off easily. I don't think my carpet has ever come up before because I found a few windscreen clips and screws which look like the have been since the car was new.
I also went to the plater on my way into work to pick up my first lot of items that were finished being plated and they can out excellently.

Your floor looks good Anton :thumbright: I presume your wiper seals are ok, otherwise this would be a good time to change them :-k

Wiper stems are already out for restoring and the firewall gasket set is on it's way from the states with the heater box gasket kit.
I am very pleased with how good the floor are considering the car has been over here for many years.
