I went to the B&Q up near the Silverlink this morning. The car park and road in/out of it was huge fun!

Even in the Jeep I was sliding on the corners and the ruts in the ice were about 10 inches deep.

There were people going back in the store to buy planks of wood just to stick under their tyres.

Newcastle Airport reported at lunchtime that they had a single snow cloud on their radar that was 10 miles across.
