Roofers make a very nice living,.some have nice houses that burn to the ground and they dont know what a steel roof is????

Ok waiting for the epoxy primer to cure out and next will be a feather fill , car looks pretty straight , and the roof came out very nice better than I had expected

I did a wheel swap , this will get these wheels when it is done , so I need to see if they fit ,they do but I will have to roll the inner top of the fender/quarter to be safe but the look pretty nice

Thanks Sinny I have been following your thread, so you too know how hard this work is to make it look right

Somewhat thread related since I am using the wheels from my chally I am trying on different shoes like a chick , here are some kinda nostalgic,not my style per say but I like em they are on loan from Amx Jim ,gotta love those Amc buddies they have wheels that fit

The car looks a little high on those rims to me, I'd like to see it dropped an inch or so?

I don't like to see a big gap anywhere between the tyres and the bodywork. There are massive gaps each side of the tyres on Lisa's Cuda there.
Me no likey that. Bigger profile tyre needed.

The Challenger though looks much better on those 15" wheels. The proportions are right and the arches are filled.

I believe you have to think about how the original E-Body stylists shaped the wheel arches to suit the wheels and tyres of the time and keep that in your minds eye when looking at these cars from the side.

Yea I agree the car will come down ,it needs glass ,interior,etc., to really see where it sits ,but yes it will need to be lower .

This is all a test fit ,I need to roll the inners to make sure when I do lower it ,it wont rub

Ok now the dreaded AAR hood , I have hood pins but my brain is very absent sometimes , I set a tool down and one minute later I cant find it , the one time I forget to put the hood pins back on will be catastrophic .

and one time I borrowed a 77 hornet that had been wrecked on the front end somebody didnt put the safety catch on ,and I was under the hood for something, forgot to close the hood and on the hiway 55 mph it came open and I had to look out the side window to get over safely , lucky there , ruined the hood, but lesson learned I have to install some sort of safety catch as well as the factory latch.

I cut the old one out of the hood , this hood may seem cool dual hood scoops but some one cut out the scoops, and pop riveted in some aluminum plates to cover hood pin holes as well it was full of bondo and rust so it was a good doner

Then I sand blasted, cut a groove/channel in the glass to make for a smoother transition , I used 8 large area rivets , laid out some glass ,bonded it well, and now have a nice seamless factory look and it is steel so it will last as long as I own the car and it will be safer with the factory catch and latch
