I can't remember Dave Billadeau, but when I was there with the Grand National, Ollie always said hello ...

I started taking the GN to York in mid 1990 and haunted the place for years afterwards, some years going every fortnight. Petrol was cheap then :D

I even took the GS twice. The first time it fell flat on its face and then shed tons of oil on the way home. The second time, after the engine rebuild, we went all the way and they wouldn't let us race because it was a convertible.

I remember seeing that GS about =P~

Did it run at Santa Pod/Avon Park?

Always thought it was beautiful (& quick). :thumbright:

Phil, you may be getting them confused.

There were/are two.

Mine was red but should have been brown and was a 'normal' 455

Mike's is red and should be red and is a Stage1.

That was 1992.

Four GN's (actually three GN's and a GNX).

This was 1998, when I think I met you as you brought the 442 that year ???

Only two of the GN's are the same, mine and Colin's GNX.

In the first picture, one went back to the US, and the closest one got wrecked with a fatality.

Probably right about the confusion - age does that sort of thing apparently.
Just remember being impresssed with a red GS soft top (similar shape to mine) in immaculate condition (unlike mine!!).
