I started taking the GN to York in mid 1990 and haunted the place for years afterwards, some years going every fortnight. Petrol was cheap then
I even took the GS twice. The first time it fell flat on its face and then shed tons of oil on the way home. The second time, after the engine rebuild, we went all the way and they wouldn't let us race because it was a convertible.

There were/are two.
Mine was red but should have been brown and was a 'normal' 455
Mike's is red and should be red and is a Stage1.
Just remember being impresssed with a red GS soft top (similar shape to mine) in immaculate condition (unlike mine!!).
