Ok Rich
take a look at the ashtray, it just pulls out of the dash
at the bottom of the ash tray is 2 locating pieces, these could be broke
once it's out of the dash there is the spring to make it pop out once you touch it, this could be broke
on the left side of the dash panel where it sits is a little plastic gear with teeth that meshes with a track on the ash tray, this could be broke
let me know whats busted as I've got all pieces
if it's something broke in the dash panel it's not difficult to remove that one, one I have is very dark grey almost black
