I can tell you where it went tho', I traded it and some cash for a survivor '57 Buick Special 2 door with a bloke in Buckingham around the late '80's. He was'nt the sort to race tho' and I never set eyes on it again

I'm pretty sure one of the guys that worked at Hausers owned and raced that car in the mid '80's.

You are probably right there, a mate of mine told me that a guy "in the trade" ran it as a strip car before it ended up on Rod Eady's used car lot, and I think that was somewhere like Burton Latimer in Northants, so the Rushden ( Hausers) area was never far away.
Got to phone him for a price on a Suregrip for my Chally, gonna ask him if he remembers it.
