Yes the underdog of muscle cars,less than 20k total produced,

They are a Javelin with a foot removed from behind the door,

I have had one(as well as a bullet proof hornet wagon that I hate to admit I owned), very simple basic looks

,,,I had to sell it since I didnt want to compete with Jim for parts ,and I have owned Mopars since

I would ponder to guess but I think Jim has owned at least 50 of them over the years,

I have worked on many of them with him,

we even cut one that caught fire in to 4 parts and hauled it to the junkyard,

To many stories ,not enough time

You got to love an AMX. Proper drivers car compared to lots of yank muscle. AMC's under rated.
I started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

That Green Mark Donihue (sp) that was for sale on here was also a super sweet Motor. I just this that unlike an E Body, for example they dont look right from all angles. :roll: :D

That particular car did an event called the silver state challenge, in Eli Nevada , they close of 90 miles of road and you can go as fast as you can,

Jims AMX certified 185 mph from any angle :D

i would be shocked at that pulling 185 then, :shock: :shock: maybe with a 350 ratio and 6,800 red line

Yea your right he used to have 4:10,s but he has 3:15,s final drive is 2:38,,

I called him to make sure :thumbright:

well I am talking to AMX Jim and he to owns a Vette also and agrees get the Vette, great gas mileage , easy to drive, good looks,and always look like your driving a million bucks :thumbright:
