Nice idea for a thread Pete. And our very own Farmer Ted's example "Warpig" cropped up in Steve's unusual pics thread recently. Apparently in the UK now? Lets talk about it here?!?!

That's all pretty pedestrian.
EJ Potter had the imagination! Buy a brand new Dodge Dart wagon (heater delete to save money!), cut out the floor etc, wheel in a supercharged Allison, burn it up the quarter, crack a manifold and get burnt, then take the Allison out, reweld the floor back in, fit a junkyard heater, let the wife drive it for a while, then trade it in......
('scuse me finger nails, changing the fornt wheel bearings on the Val....)

The Warpig IS HERE, it's darn sarf, the owners name escapes me just now but he was a mate of Andy Neal who built it to it's present spec (that's Andy with the hair in the previous pic.) with all-steel body, giant twin-turbo's, Lenco and probably 2500hp  :D

My 4-link, wheels & axle came over in the same container so 'ive seen it in the flesh.
...and yes, it is truly awesome!
I know he had some serious oiling problem initially and he was not a happy bunny, but that was about 3 years ago so why it's not surfaced yet i don't know :?

I heard a geezer sneezing down the road........ Far cough! No one seems to "get" EJ Potter around here. Perhaps I'll start a new thread; Here's EJ, he was a drag seminary, he has a fantastic book out, with many wild/interesting anectdotes, but please don't comment! :D :D :D :P

:thumbright: I am OK! 8-)
