My old 65 Belve had a bad crash at the Pod today, Henning is ok but the car is in a pretty bad shape, he hit the wall after the finish line, hopefully he can get it fixed.

That was his first run, he was very lucky then. Spoke to him Sunday night and he was very pleased how the car was running and how good the track was. Then the crash happened on his first pass on Monday, he did slow down before finish line, looked like fluid leak, but got into a big fish tail and lost it. Saw the car, don't think it will be back very soon.

It`s horrible when someone prangs their car, besides the potential damage to themselves, all of those guys have put 100`s of hours and £1000`s of their hard earned cash into their cars.

That Plymouth Arrow was a nice car when Rob Twin`s mate hade it ... went nice and straight and went something like 177 mph without a prob

:(

Male or Female is indifferent to me if they can drive.

Chevy motor comes down to cost I guess, or maybe they had the Chevy lump when they bought the car.

I read on RnS that they were looking to obtain wings from Paul, as he had a steel pair available. All being well, it will get repaired.

Spot on, my Missus has gone faster at the track than the majority of MMA members...10.34 at 134mph on her 2nd outing....

Chubby is the only way to go fast nowadays, sadly. Costs, availability of parts and flow figures on basic heads that will put a hemi to shame without the complications....

It's a shame I am permanently addicted to the Pentastar...... ;)

Agree with you there Pete, tbh I wish I had gone down the BB Chevy route or even BB Ford 460, as easier to make good hp with stock parts than Mopar in my days, but 1 look at a '71 Cuda and that was it for me!
