Larry Ward is your man :thumbright: A lot of the guys on here are familiar with his work.

But, how deep are your pockets? Bare metal job or rub down? how much prep work is required? Is your car rust free and straight or full of hidden horrors?

You need to get the car front of him (or any paint guy for that matter) in order for him (them) to give you a price.

He's in Walthamstow (North London) by the way. 07838 232319.

sounds good!

um, i would want all the little niggles etc taken out, has a very nasty, yet quiet well hidden scuff on the front.

but if he really is that good, then i wouldnt mind paying, as long as its not like 5,000+ or something silly.

Crickey Sam, your car looks great as it is mate!! If youve got to have it done, I would recommend a reputable accident repair centre. Ive been told (and had experience) that as most of their work is examined by insurance assessors prior to being signed off, they have to do a good job and standards are usually high. I can recommend one in Birmingham that I used who were very good and extremely reasonably priced. Let me know if you want the details and I will PM them to you

Cheers Steve

how ever, i know, but the on rear the lacquer is starting to flake up a bit, and there are a few dings here and there.

want it spot on, and if its 3k to have a excellent finish, then thats fine by me!

really?!

alredy had one quote for 2k as it is, but thought i would ask on here first as you guys are more in the know and would much rather go to someone that is custom to doing these cars..

and to which you guys have pointed me in the direction of a few so far.

I imagine Larry would not get out of bed for a slash for £3k; but then he really is a top class painter..............

You may need to re-set your expectations................especially if you want it bare metaled and block sanded.....

I have no real expectations tbh. Just going on the guide price of the 2k that was mentioned. I'll speak to him at nats.

If I'm honest it's mainly the back that needs doing. The front is spotless, other then the scuff

Painting a car here at CCK generally costs in the £5000 region.
