Hi Gary, thats a great looking bike!! And bet it goes like stink!

I love the older kawasakis.... When I was a kid in Scotland, a bloke who lived in our village used to work at the local bike shop and brought what seemed like a different bike home every other day! He used to ride past my house on Z900s, 1000s, GT750s, CBXs etc etc. Great old bikes.... Great work mate and thanks for posting the picture :thumbright:

Cheers Steve

Nice Gary!
I had a Z9 for 2 weeks before some twat pinched it- they cut the frame in half to get the motor!

I'm currently re-re-re-building a Harris framed GS1085 ;)
No-one will believe you...

My mates got a Harris magnum 2 frame with a sweet 1260 zed motor and running gas. Making about 240 bhp with gas !!
The thing has so much power it feels like its never gonna stop!

Mines only making about 125 bhp but the delivery is awesome Specialy on a 130 rear tyre !!!! Best 1/4 was an 11.9............with the rear tyre smoking
Built it in 2000 But it's only just run in really Don't get enough time with my toys :-(.
Hence daily use of Mopars. Gotta have a fix or I get a bit cranky !!!
V8's calm me nicely :D

The last road bike i had was a GS750, before that it was RD 250's,350's, 400's H1 500 triple, GT750 etc. The funny thing is, i reckon my 12 sec 340 Dart would have kept up with most of them at the strip.
I watched a 750 triple go down the track at shakespeare recently and it ran a low 13, i was shocked, as they seemed so fearsome all those years ago.

I know what you mean Mick.
The triples were deadly. Got the nickname widow makers but only run 12's !!
Think it might be an age thing ?
The power delivery was mad though. Used to proper bite your bum !!!!
Havnt run a car up the strip yet so that's anew thing for me to try. Think it could be a natural progression
Gary :D

There was a lot of weight in those old 2-strokes compared with later stuff.
My RD350 ran a 14.01 best, that was stock apart from Microns.

My GS motor's 118 rear wheel and really torquey. It has an 8-plug head, a copy of the old endurance racers. I used to have N2O but sold the kit to help pay for the inevitable engine rebuild...
