Same here.Next year may go for the weekend and get to have a shandy on saturday night, then meet more of the guys.

My son had never been to Santa Pod and he is crazing me like hell for the next time!

:D

Highlight of the day was Terry's A100 racing, the burnout competition, seeing my old 4 door sat, meeting up with Micheal Smith who i hadn't seen for years, buying an MMA t shirt (no XL was a bit tight but i'll slim into it!) and loads more stuff.

So heres to next year!

Hi dogdish - an A100 may look cool on the outside, but its a bit scary on the inside - it drives like a 50's tractor. At 90mph at the top end of the strip, it needs that roll cage that I've been talking about fitting for the last five years. One day I'll grow up and buy a proper car - I saw a few I'd like at the weekend.

Hi Alex. What a weekend! so many people, so many great cars. It was excellent to see yours out for the first time - running good times on the strip as well, can't be bad.
Steph has got the right idea - but she can't have mine, its off on its annual hols to France tomorrow (towing its own petrol tanker behind it). We work on the theory that we don't pay road tox and the insurance is classic and therefore v. low. This kind of compensates for the massive fuel bill............
And by the way - Happy Birthday! - have a good one

Terry
