I still got a load of 1/8 scale Monogram and Revell kits in the loft unmade, a 65 Corvette and a 79 Trans Am, and an E-Type. There's a lovely Lindberg Model T rod with flake cast into the body shell and pie crust slicks.
I'd like to find some more large scale cars, where's a good place to look?

Got a few tucked away
Quite like this one as a kit, really of the age, lots of working features, was a Renwall tooling before Revell.
The 1/12 Scale Revell Mustang GT
CD box shows the scale,
Typical 70's Revell packaging,
I did build one of these when they first came out, great kit, lots of fun.

I got two of the C2 Vette, an early release red and a later release metallic blue plastic. The Trans Am is metallic brown plastic and an 85 Z28 Camaro i built was metallic red, that was a strange fad that obviously didn't make its mark

Indeed, it's a re-boxed Otaki kit, they did a 1/24th example as well.

I had the blue Corvette.
Fitted the blown Hemi and wheels/slicks out of a 1/8 Funny Car I had built earlier, cut the roof into a T-top style, and customised the interior with orange velvet.
Well it was the late 70s.

Noticed the other day that the MPC 1/16th Petty Charger is available again, never had one of these so can't really comment on quality.

Found this 1/16 Countach in a cupboard today, forgot I had it, no longer sealed completely but still absolutely mint.
These Jap kits are really well manufactured and have huge detail and features.

Hi guys, re large scale kits. I am currently working on a 1.5 scale 32 ford street rod kit its a revell kit. I have come to abit of a stop as i have misplaced the steering column shaft. This piece actually works the steering, on the end of the shaft is asmall spiral section that works a gear in the steering box. My query is does anyone have this lurking in a dark corner somewhere tha i could borrow this piece i could then get a 3d printer copy of it or buy it , orany other helpful suggestions are most welcome. Thanks guys.

Hi guys ,panic over ,after a thorough luck through all of the parts, i have found the "custom" steering column. There are two ways to build this kit, one is a pretty street rod the ways is to build it as a fenderless racer . I amm building it in the latter style with a modern paint clour , namely a rover steel metallic grey? Happymoydelling.
