Adam's 2005 USA Mopar Nats report

Wasted from a cramped and unpleasant Continental flight, things started to look up at Cleveland Hopkins airport, when we scored the only 2006 Charger at Dollar. New in that day, and with just 3 miles on the clock, it still had stickers on the tyres, and the broadcast sheet in the glovebox. That thing don't got a Hemi, but it felt peppy with the 250hp V6. It was an SXT model with leather and all the toys, and for some reason it had the Hemi R/T 18" alloys.
Like others, I was disappointed at first that the new Charger has 4 doors, but the looks have grown on me, and with rear wheel drive and an available 425hp Hemi in the SRT-8, I think it is worthy of the name.
I expected to see a few 06 Chargers on the road, but it wasn't until the last day that we saw another one. It got attention wherever we went - at the pizza restaurant near Seville on the first night, a middle aged guy on the next table said to his buddies "Seen one of them new Chargers yet?" "Nope" "Well there's one right out in the parking lot" At which point they all troop out to look over our car. 8) They left in a 300C.
