As if there werent already enough reasons to go to the Ace, next week is the Executioner's 'End of Summer Riot' which, last year, cos of a double booking (see below) turned out to be their busiest night ever.
Worth a visit if you can.

Below is the page from last year's Custom Car that pictured our Polara round back & Clivey's Charger on t'road. Was yours wasnt it? Was that the last time it was seen in public?

Hope the weather holds........ [-o<

By the way, last time I was there for the Mopar meet in June, there was a horrendous traffic jam on the way back to the M1 cos the roadworks. Anyone whose been there recently know if there's still roadworks on the A406 between the Ace & M1?

yep, thats mine alright. Wasnt the last time on a public road though. Was on a trailer two weeks ago on its way to JPC's - -Does that count?

been on the road a few times after - but not many. The big end let go in November and that was the end of that!!

Last years do was good fun and well attended. I for one would like to go, but I may be piacking up my gearbox that evening so its all a little unsure at the mo.

Looks like JPC's being kept busy enough by the club alone! Hope he's got room for ours when it comes to it! A while off yet tho.

See you there if you can make it Clivey.

Traffic was horrendous tonight....M40 was at a standstill so shot down the M25 to the M4 but it was the same. Eventually got on the Hayes bypass but got lost on the Whitehart roundabout and ended up heading back down to Heathrow! By the time we got to the Ace we had to queue on the North circular for ages just to try and park which was near impossible with the ammount of people and cars there. I only took a few shots as I was too fed up by this time and it was so busy the cars were mostly obscured by the crowds. Met up with Matt, Rob and Stuart there...nice to see you guys and thanks for clearing a path in the masses so I could get me lens in :)

Around the corner in the back streets lurked a few Mopars who had to park up there as there was nowhere else. The Coronet belongs to a guy called Mickey who tells me hes only had it about six weeks. I directed him towards the club and hopefully he will see a good reason to sign up. I also took a few shots of the 68 Beeper and the Belvedere there too. the 70 Charger is Dave Dobsons and he's a regular at the Ace, don't know who the 74 SE belonged too as i have never seen it before now..... Sorry if I missed the rest of the Mopar posse but it was hell out there!

Not only did you get lost, it appears you have been time travelled to the ol' days of B&W, Dave! Good effort at getting there! 8)

Great pics, Dave, especially considering how busy it was. Like the b&w :)

Gutted not to have gone - love the Executioners nights but was stuck in bed with cold/flu thing :(

Would have gone, but girlfriend didn't want to be seen with me if I was walking round with two wads of bog roll stuck up me nose, which was the only option.

Dave.
love the B&W very moody, especially with the ghosts all around the SE Charger. 68 Runner pic is perfect.
Had a good evening, it was just so busy.
Charger ran fine there and back, longest run it has had yet, I just wish the fuel guage worked.
