Been hearing some good reports about the Street Rod Nats since it out-grew the Herts County showground (about 6 miles from me) and moved to the Suffolk County Showground (about 80 miles & ?60 in gas). Pretty good venue but shame it's not in a more central position - prob easier for many Europeans (I saw Belgians, Dutch & Germans) than most English.
Stu & I took a liesurely drive over on Sunday in the Satellite, worth the effort tho, see what you think..........

No, me neither Ash. T'was for sale too, tho no price on it. 'Factory fresh' I think is the expression, everything stock except the ally valve covers. Shame I didnt snap the engine bay.

Excellent pics of some excellent cars! Love the Valiant. Not quite me thing, but stunning none the less, is that lowered met green Thunderbird.
Looks like a great day out. 8)

Ivor, love the 'rat rod' look too but there's retro and there's retro! Didnt bother to snap any of the 70's style customs or hot rods (like the T-bucket on Gumball Rally), of which there were many. Thats where they shouldve stayed, back in the 70's.
James (CP) It's a 3 day event (no horses tho); the sat is cruise day when hundreds of em go and terrorise the locals on the promenade, sunday is the main show day and the monday is a half day for prize giving.
Yes the green T-bird stood out even in that company, talk about high-impact 8)
That comparatively understated Valiant was cool too, great colour scheme.
James (K) Thought the trabby was a Daf to start with but checked the tax disc. Another pic below. Check the tow-bar!
Just one of quite a lot of cars I saw with that 80/90's favourite, Supertrapp mufflers
