Looking to get a mirror for the passenger side door to match the original optioned one on the drivers side. Some places are showing RH/LH while others don't specify. Just wondering if they are handed or will fit to either side?
The mirror in question
Cheers in advance

In my experience, the factory mirrors are handed. You can physically fit a drivers side to the passenger side, but you can't adjust it enough to use it. Can't guarantee that's the case with all body styles.

I take it the mirrors on an A body actually allow you to see hazards ?
Not like a B body where all you see is a " hip "

If your using the mirrors your driving it too slow Chris...........
Think i said on one of the threads earlier that the Dart has much better visibility than any modern car i've driven. Think the states will probably be the only loaction you'll find one though!!
I would also only buy if it specifically stated RHS..........

Mossy - As long as I can see more than I can now I'll be happy!
Dave - It is a million times better than moderns, but I've been driving my Herald for about 3 years now and all of the pillars are about an inch thick so in comparison the dart is terrible haha!
Yeah there's quite a few on ebay us, but the prices of some are unreal. over £130 quid for 1 mirror!!

Chris.
Is it for parking etc you need the mirror ?
Must say I find mine easy to park etc without the mirror on passenger side.
I have to sit up in the seat a bit but visibility is is good and I don't feel a mirror would help a great deal.
Saying that I've never driven a Dart so can't really comment !

Have quite a steep drive so would be useful when reversing up. Main reason was overtaking and multilane islands. There seems to be quite a big blindspot. Maybe its as I'm not used to LHD.

Hi Chris, I needed one for all the same reasons as you

after months looking on US EBay at £130-150 mirrors I found a used one on there for £38 delivered

It arrived within six days with nothing else to pay
Definitely worth waiting if you can, especially as your shape appeared more often when I was looking a couple of years back, mine is slightly different although an A Body

I'm with you Chris. A steep drive, and no street lamps.
I'm looking for a passenger ,or our O/S mirror as well, if I find a reasonabally priced supplier, I'll let you know,If you do please let me know.
I don't want to pay big bucks.
$38 is OK
