He had a puddle of something in the boot/trunk and was soaking it up with a cloth. Hope it wasnt fuel. Or beer.

It must be a Dart thing, mine likes holding water too! Great pics Rob, I really had hoped to make this event, looks like a great weekend and some really interesting cars.

Miles, yes, a great mixture, from Laurel & Hardy look-a-likes in with the rat-rod brigade to Fuel Altereds. Not normally into VW's but you cant fail to be impressed by some of the faster ones. One pulled a BIG wheelie and as it landed it's convertible top blew back - crowd pleaser! And still run a low 10! Got any pics of that Dave?
Remember all that concern about what year cars were allowed? Guess they relaxed the rules - Sierras, Capris, new Camaros all running this time.

Sandy, not sure who's the silver GS was but think he was with some of the Surrey Muscle guys. Wasnt sure about that scoop, is it an original (style) then?
Not sure if he made a pass on the Saturday, saw about 3 attempts but every time had a water leak/overheated.

Dave, couldnt resist that pic of you & Jeff, was talkin to Bob Brown at the time, thought his wing framed you nicely. I did take some 'action' pics but used ye olde 35mm with 70-210, so hope me prints come out ok. Cant get good burn-out pics from the stands tho cos theres so many people between the cars & the stands. Have to wait to see yours!

Jerryatric, Yes, we were drooling over that 65 too. Thought it was a recent import except for the Denis the Menace artwork on the trunk lid. Only saw 1 pass on the Saturday, and that was a 14 I think. more in there I'm sure. Anyone know how he did on Sunday? Didnt see under the hood either.
