Adam's Goodwood Revival pics

Had a splendid time at Goodwood. Chrysler displayed an example of every 300 "letter" car, including a couple from the Walter P Chrysler Museum, and Geoff Mitchells 300L. Not sure what Mick Skilton's pink "300 wagon" was doing there, but it was nice to see.
On the track, a hilariously over powered "273" Barracuda went from the 3rd row to the lead by the 1st corner in the hands of Vitantonio "Tony" Liuzzi, but he eventually succumbed to Jackie Oliver's Galaxie and Bobby Rahals' Falcon. Patrick Tambay's Dart didn't make it on to the track on Saturday, sadly.
Plenty of awesome planes around too, including the B-17 "Sally B", and a P-47 Thunderbolt. Most everyone got into the spirit of the era and dressed up, though I decided against the plus fours, and opted for a 50's hot rod look.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics, and I posted a bunch more

I rode down on the old Velocette last year and got waved straight to the front...result! Top event too, they take no prisoners racing either, brilliant.

Barracuda owner is listed as Grahame Bryant and the Dart is owned by John Young. I thought the Barracuda sounded evil when they started it in the pits - it really crackled. It was listed as a 273, but it had so much power it was fishtailing on the straights, as well as going sideways in the corners, much to the commentator's amusement. Jackie Oliver kept getting alongside coming out of Lavant, only to be out-dragged down the straight. Top fun

I think the owner of the '64 Barracuda on Ebay just now is pals with that Grahame Bryant, he said his mate had a silver one that has had 10k spent on it. By the way has anyone seen the starting price on the Ebay Barracuda? Because someone email'd him saying it was so rare he has up'ed it to ?1000
