I know it looks low on the rear but it is parked half on the pavement and it does sit a lot better once on the level, also it towed well and yes I wrapped a Tarp around it for the journey.
I'm back on the boat,

Half way through my week and thought I'd post an update of the progress so far. It's been a steady week, Stephen wasn't able to get time off work unfortunately but we're making progress.
It's back on its wheels after 4yrs and tonight we've got Stuart my brothers youngest coming round to help fit the engine.
Some photos for you, reassembly started with the throttle pedal because that's what makes it go

I think your build is quite inspirational. You’ve stuck at it through all sorts of tribulations! Lovin the pic of the engine on the trailer. Any idea when the car might hit the road?

That is excellent work, fast progress, especially considering the journey you have to get to the workshop!

Well that's it for this trip I'm out of time and need to catch the ferry in the morning. Probably only need another week to Bananarama! enough to get it back on the road but I need return to earning the wage.

Once again looking great Dave,
Given the time it must take to get up to the island and similarly back down again - do you sleep at all when you are up there?
