Morning guys,
Anyone got it in their sights to go to Vasteras next year? I'm booked to go with a pal of mine and was going to take the new motor but have now heard that the ferry line has been withdrawn sadly so it looks like the plane
Just wondered whether the club has any plans to go and if so whether we all hang around together drinking the local brew talking about what we've seen? Closest hotel we could book is in Eskilstuna, some 16km's away...

And yes the route has now changed.

We did it this year, sailed to Hook of Holland, drove through Holland, Germany, Denmark and up through Sweden to Vasteras, sounds like a lot more work but was around 300 miles each way more, or 1 good days drive. We usually do the round trip over a fortnight, have a mini break on the way up and down to kee the birds happy, it's good fun if there's a crowd of you, we were 8 people in 4 classics this year.
There is rumour of the old ferry route coming back as another company is trying to start it back up but there's no dates as yet

I did take a lot of pics this year, I did a running album on my FB page of the trip and cars at the show, I'm away at the minute but when I'm back I'll sort some out, if you can find me on FB add me and you can see the whole album

been many times- bloody fantastic
