Where the originals chrome or black finish? For a 68 Dart post. I think I know which I prefer but wondered what was stock..

Not sure about the 68 Dart specifically Dorian, but I've only ever seen them with stainless steel (I think, not chromed) backing / mounting strips

Depends on the trim level I think, my Valiant being a base model has no chrome accents anywhere, black fuzzies, black door panel trim etc.

Thanks Guys... The Dart has some interesting Chrome trim around the side windows and b pillars so I'm guessing I should go with Cchrome/ stainless.... 
But then I don't want any bling... Guess they're pretty small.
