passed its mot today ,first drive out revealed an axle whine ,think the pinion bearing has bit the dust ,not a problem as I have the valiants old axle still ,just a pain ,apart from that shes lovely ,still some small issues to sort ,but what a cacking little motor ,now to convince jenny we need two classic cars ,as we have a double garage :D

cant afford B and E , :D ,they are just great to use ,and now with the aftermarket industry ,there getting better for upgrading ,at a price I may add,but this one has been a pleasure so far ,needs some seat covers and a bit of paint under the bonnet to really look good ,but she could hold her ground on a showfield

inside ,someone had done a poor job on the driver seat years ago ,but she is 53,ledgendary repop the gt seats ,got to send them a sample ,and I think a light blue carpet and it will be great ,got some seat belts done over here and they are bang on match :thumbright: ,the car definatley went to someone with a view on restoration at some point ,there is too much which is new and correct ,and 53 year old cars still age no matter where they live in the US,like the correct mirror ,which looks nearly new,i cant work out what has happened with it ,its had repairs ,but are too a really good standard, which we all know is rare sight for American body men ,normally glued on paint tins in your floor pan

That is Mint... Literally :D

Love the front end, reminds me of the turbine car.

Is the steering wheel cracked? If not get that horrible cover off it...

Well done :thumbright:

Keep both cars, they make a lovely couple!

Keeps getting better, Tery. The colour is great and I like the grille. Interior is bang on. You did well with that.

Yes I can imagine it must be quite a surprise to open Your eBay the next morning to find out what you bought the previous night..

Come on then give us a laugh, I'm sure there's a story or 2 there!

I bought an engine from the 'States under the influence.
One of the worst purchases I have ever made, it was a complete Munter.
