I had the following quotes today as one of my cars are up for renewal.
32 yrs old, 0 points etc.

Mk1 escort 30k agreed - £125
Dart - £115
E55 AMG £10k agreed - £170.

I pay ~£150 with classicline each at the moment so I'm tempted to migrate over.

Went with Brentacre, a few forms to send back like driving licence copies and some pics of the car but no hardship

Got it at £134 in the end as I added breakdown

Another happy story, Spoke to Dave at Brentacre and got the Demon insured at a real good price, and they insured my work van for £160 less than Flux wanted with better cover !!! I would recommend them to anyone :thumbright:

Just insured the Dart, £159.44 including the roadside assistance (as I've done most of the work on the car myself I figured this was a wise investment)

Really happy with that price!

I should do a full thread on this , but just want to say that Brentacre were absolutely fantastic when I was involved in an accident
It all went through the correct channels , and I only had to deal with one person at a time. Hire car was delivered to me in under 24 hours etc.

Quoted me £95 compared to RH at £100. For the sake of £5 and simplicity I've stayed with RH this year.

Very good though as I did the quote online. Next day had a callback to talk through the car and what they could do.

One for the future I'd think.with the mods I'm gonna do!
