If you're looking at wagons I saw this yesterday... Spec sheet reads nicely?

In the past I have given up halfway through reassembling someone else's project so Head says no,you will have something pretty unique though when it's done won't you?

Love that wagon. Superb.

Regards the IH, great to be different, but as a project a nightmare if bits are missing. I'd always try to go for complete and running when possible, so that someone else has had the nightmare.

It is the oddest of hobbies/passions/obsessions.

I must admit I have never made money on a car, but then again I have never expected to make money on a car, nor have I bought a car to make money on it.... but my choices have been 'odd' and will no doubt continue to be so  :?

P.S. I love the truck by the way.... :thumbright:

buy it

find out when it was stripped and bargain on 1 thing going missing every month since.

if the bloke selling it stripped it you are in better position
nightmares start with a project passed around like a hot potatoe.

everyone keeps a part of it as a garage ornament by accident

build a relationship with the seller so if anything turns up that should have come with it it can be Ron Fenton-ed over

looks like you'll need a nice big box of bolts and screws but if the rest is there...mega.

most things can be fixed with bits of ford Cortina and Hillman hunter

That car has fallen out of the ugly tree, hitting every branch on its way down.

You know what, 5 years ago I'd have said the same but now I love these quirky 50s/ 60s cars. The more character, the more different the better!

I've told the seller I'm out, but I'm already regretting it

IH parts are tough to find..... And they are fought over here.... It would make a great truck, but getting parts is going to be very hard.

Buy it :D

There's a guy on retro rides, goes by the screen name of Grenade, he buys IH pick ups, strips them and puts the body on Durango's.
I bet he can supply any parts you might need if you were to buy it.
Doesn't seem to have any trouble finding complete trucks either
