Did you do the manual valve body transmission in this Dunc?
YES YES YES I am with the programe now. Andy is a top guy, it was a quicko job before the mopar nats a few yrs ago Geof Hauser sent it to me they did the remove and refitt as they already had the car at there shopCaptain Chaos wrote: āThu Feb 08, 18 9:22 am Thanks for the reply. I'd been given the impression it was later on when Andy Carruthers had owned it,2014-2018
All I was trying to find out was whether it had a higher stall converter in it and some idea of spec, but if my information is incorrect or it's too cloudy a memory then no problem.
I'd be up for a race next year Stu!!!!!Captain Chaos wrote: āFri Aug 03, 18 12:47 pm 5A81A399-51F5-4A41-9263-1CC4B90B0234.jpeg
Well I was certainly not the fastest by a long chalk but I managed to get down the track at 14.06 at 95mph. Room for improvement I know,Iām rather taken with the feeling and sensations I experienced so if you need a slow opponent Iām your man.
Research and discussion into tyres, tyre pressures, pumping up the air shocks and technique will no doubt end up with Ā£ being spent on other things too
Oh yes, really looking forward to it Mr C.
Thanks Blue.Blue wrote: āFri Aug 03, 18 5:43 pm The best thing to do with the air shocks is to remove them and get some decent shocks and springs. it's all about stored energy and if the springs are sagging and the car is being held up by the shocks there is no energy to release to plant the tires on launch and wheelspin is the result.
